Summer Mini 2011

I hope everyone has had a restful Memorial Day and long weekend.  I am so excited for the summer and the warm weather.  The card I am sharing is for my BFF in Rhode Island. I will be seeing her at the end of June when our families make our yearly gathering. This card was so easy to make.  It is from the Summer Mini page 14 "On the Grow" (Wood set #123075 $15.95 or Clear mount #123077 $11.95) I used my Stampin Up! markers and colored the different colors directly on the stamp.  In the catalog there are flowers in the basket. I chose to not color the flowers and then I used a stamp set from the main Stampin Up! catalog page 73 "Loads of Love Accessories #115024 wood mount only $20.95)

Did you see I put the puppy dogs in the basket.  My friend Carol is a huge animal lover so I know she is going to love this card.  Some upcoming dates to remember are:

• May 31st    National Scrapbooking Month ends and Stampin Up! ends it Scrapbooking promotion.
• June 1st   Last Chance Stamp sets from the 2010-11 Idea Book and Catalog begins
• July 1st    2011-12 Idea Book and Catalog goes live and ordering can begin.
