Back from convention 2013

I had a blast at convention.  I have been with Stampin Up! for 5 years and every year I can't imagine how they can top it. But, they do.  These are my cards I brought to swap with other demonstrators.

Have a great day!

Where have I been?

Wow, what happened to November.  I have had an whirlwind of a month.  We went to the mountains to show Barry's sister Biltmore Estate and where Allison goes to college.  She got stuck at the airport with a nor-easter and couldn't get out.

Me and my handsome hubby Barry

My beautiful kids Allie and Michael

Then...the following weekend Barry and I flew to NY on a Saturday morning to celebrate his sisters 50th wedding anniversary with his family.  We flew home Sunday evening.  It was alot of fun but exhausting.

This is us with our great niece Chelsea.  She is a cutie pie.

Then...Our dear friends from Rhode Island came for our annual get to together Thanksgiving trip on Tuesday and left yesterday.  Today I got to go to My Martha's to play with stamps.  Can I just tell you what great therapy stamping, creating and sharing are.  As I try to adjust back to my routine I can say I am exhausted and excited.  I have a card class on Saturday and I have peeps coming.  So if your in the triangle area call me and get in on the card class.  I will blog pictures of the cards we are doing.

Oh, I forgot to mention My Michael turns 26 in two days and My Allie turns 19 in 4 days.  I just need to breathe....
Have a great week.

Election Day

Today is one of the most important days of the history of the United States.  I am sharing some of my Artisan Award projects that I submitted for the annual contest Stampin Up offers to its demonstrators.  My theme was the elections, mostly because my Allison will be voting for the first time for the president of her choice.  I am going to put my walking/exercise shoes and walk to my polling station.  If you haven't voted get out there and DO IT! Whether a Romney or Obama supporter your vote counts.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you find something creative to do today, after you vote. :0)

Fall Gift Project

Pumpkin Spiced Coffee
Yummy.  Yesterday was my first break this week to catch up on my creating.  I have been slightly busy with life and work.  My Allison came home from college last weekend for the long holiday.  I was so happy to see my baby girl.  Tomorrow is open stamping at my friend and upline Martha Armstrong you can see her blog here.  She has been a Stampin Up Demonstrator for 15 Years! I am going to be celebrating 5 years next summer.  Stampin Up is a great company to be affiliated with.  I have been getting discounted stamping products & scrapbooking products for all these years because I chose to be affiliated with such a quality & caring company.  I would love you to join me whether you just want it for discounted and early ordering on products or whether you want to share it with friends and host your own parties to earn some extra dollars.

I have a promotion going on: You can order from me everything to make some cards for Halloween.  Look at my older post from last week.  All the details are there.

So back to the Pumpkin Spiced Coffee.  I was at Starbucks ordering my first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the season.  I order it skinny. No whip and skim milk.  It is still packed with calories but ordering it skinny helps my brain wrap around I can have it all! They had these packets on the counter and immediately my mind went ticking to what a great fall gift and oooh I can craft something around it.  Its a win-win for me.   This is what I made.

To make this is you need:
Coffee packets
Designer Paper: Howlstooth & Scaringbone Stampin Up
More Mustard Card stock Stampin Up
So Saffron Card Stock Stampin Up
Very Vanilla Card Stock Stampin Up
Basic Black Ink Stampin Up
Soft Suede Ink & sponge Stampin Up
Very Vanilla Seam Binding for bow, Stampin Up
Full of Blessings stamp set Stampin Up
Bigz Die Autumn Accents Stampin Up
Bigz XL Die Petite Pocket Stampin Up

If you are interested in making this yourself and need to order the supplies I can put a kit together and sell you the kit.  The kit will include your own stamp set to stamp the images.  I can't image anyone that wouldn't love a gift of coffee.  email me bhaddon@nc.rr.com

Enjoy your weekend.

Blossom Punch Card

While Barry was at his band practice I have been a busy girl.   I went to Allison's soccer game.  They played great and were winning but in the last 10 minutes the other team won the game. Michael was out.  I had the house to myself so I went to my craft room and went to town making cards.  This design is inspired by another Stampin Up! demo but I put some twist and curl to it.  Very easy to make.

If you would like to order products to make this card please email me at bhaddon@nc.rr.com and I will get you all set up to order it.

"You Suit me to a Tea"

I can not believe it has been two months since I posted! I have been meeting with my upline and dear friend on Wednesdays and we have been so busy making cards and 3-D items.  This is an exciting time to be a demonstrator with Stampin Up! they are so good to us demos! Currently Sale-a Bration is going on.  For every $50 you spend you earn a free stamp set from our gorgeous Sale-a Bration catalog.  If you don't have one let me know I will drop one off or mail you one.

On to my project.  The tea cup you see is CASE'd.  which means its someone's idea.  This cup came from a fellow demonstrator name Connie.  It was so easy to make and it is just gorgeous in person.  You can order the products from my online storeContact me if you need help.

Isn't it darling!  I love it.

Next up is a really neat technique that I found by another demonstrator but I made my own. It was another way of dry embossing with left over scraps.  This is my creation.  You might have to click on the picture to see that the dress has been dry embossed (raised).

Have a great weekend.  I will try to post more often.
